Russian Dry Cedar Sauna is a traditional type of bathing in the Eastern Europe. Russian villagers built 'banias' near their houses. First and foremost banyas were used as bathrooms. But even after usual bathrooms appeared and spread throughout the whole Russia people still were using banyas constantly.
The process is simple: the water is poured on rocks in order to receive the high temperature dry steam to get a good purifying sweat. You can include broom bathing into your sauna process, which is also a traditional way of bathing. It has several very positive effects on the human body improving the blood circulation also softening and moisturizing the skin due to high temperatures and humidity in the steam room.

Turkish Wet Stone Sauna also has a long history. Turkish sultans used it for themselves and it was obligatory for their numerous wives to use Turkish Sauna once in a while.
Turkish steam-room is very humid and unlike the Russian sauna there is water everywhere. Turkish Sauna is peculiar because of the process of bathing. Usually you go through the massage along with bathing. Nothing is compared to the feeling after the Turkish Sauna as you feel very clean in body and the soul.
Our plunge pool is filled with Arctic cold water and designed to complete the Sauna experience. It might resemble old Finland tradition of rolling in the snow after the Sauna or Russian jumping into ice-hole with freezing water.

Say no to dizziness with an authentic sauna hat.
Authentic dry and wet saunas - hotter than anything at the gym. Great food, unlimited icewater, and a sitting room so you can relax and watch TV to cool off. There's a cold dip pool- always have a quick dip to cool off after the sauna! What more can you say?
They'll even provide soap if you want a real bath, and three kinds of massage. There's deep tissue massage (walk-in or appointment). In the Russian sauna a professional will beat you down with a banya broom (it's a real thing), and in the Turkish bath they have a seaweed broom (which is more for gentle cleaning).
Great facilities are cleaned regularly. Kitchen is amazing. They have a sense of humor too. There's a sign up front that says the only sexual activity you're going to get inside is someone shoving a boot up your behind as they kick you out. This is a place to unwind and recharge, so please don't bring your loud friends and make a big scene unless it's because of how good the food is.
Great place! Very authentic. I went there on a recent business trip to Chicago and am planning on going back every time I go to Chicago. Super friendly and helpful staff. Just a great place. I felt so good after I left there. Thank you!
